Greeley and Longmont Treatment Center News

Greeley Drug Treatment Center
Greg M. and helper Ed (accepted the Lord at O-Street Jail one year ago), hosted 28 attendees at a Drug Treatment Facility in Greeley. They report that one lady, Ruanne, was raised in the Mormon religion, but hadn’t experienced a personal relationship with Jesus. She stayed behind after the meeting and asked to be prayed for, because she wanted "to feel the joy of God like others around me".

She had been prayed for three days earlier in the lobby of the treatment center for severe back pain that had afflicted her for many years, and then came into the bible study that Wednesday. After receiving Jesus as Lord and Savior, she was overwhelmed with joy, and commented: "I’m not in any pain, it’s gone!" (Update: Since that meeting, her husband has also received Jesus Christ into his life; and she remains painfree, continually praising God for the freedom He has given her.)

Some 38 had attended an earlier meeting, February 27. Greg reports that the meeting was awesome - packed to the ceiling. As with most of Shekinah’s 82 specific ministries, Greg and Sherrie are reporting a new quickening - an upsurge in those lost and wounded who are hungering to know God.

Longmont Community Treatment Center
Jeannine G. reports that she spent close to an hour after the meeting with R., discussing the "holes in his soul" left over from childhood. He sought Godly relief from his obsession with finding a wife who could fill those empty spaces. They also laid hands on Steve, and prayed over the personal problems he was having with his wife and kids. Dorothy is still fighting for the kids, who are still in foster homes. Her determination is inspiring.
